Man dies while taking selfie on train top in Lucknow – touches high-tension wire (video)


A 24-year-old man died after climbing a train to take a selfie at Lucknow.

CCTV cameras at Charbagh station caught Sandip Maurya, 24, crossing the tracks and then climbing a parked train.

He reportedly wanted to take a selfie to impress his girlfriend, reports ABP News.

But as he got on to the roof of the train, his hand came in contact with the overhead high-tension wire.

In an instant, Sandip exploded into a ball of fire and fell down.

In March, a 19-year-old student of Jamia Millia Islamia died while taking a selfie above a stationary goods train near Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in New Delhi.

Mohammad Ayyub came in contact with a high tension wire and was electrocuted.
