Mukesh Ambani becomes Asia’s Richest Person with $44.3 billion, defeating Jack Ma

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani is a Popular Indian Businessman & Chair Person of Reliance Industries. In April, according to the Bloomberg, Mukesh Ambani was reported with the net worth of $39.2 billion and now defeating Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma in the list of top billionaire Mukesh Ambani becomes Asia’s richest person as he positions Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) to disrupt the e-commerce space in India.

According to a report submitted by Bloomberg, Ambani was estimated to be worth $44.3 billion on Friday with Reliance Industries rising 1.6 per cent to a record Rs 1,099.8.

Whereas, Jack Ma’s wealth stood at $44 billion at the close of trade on Thursday in the US, where the company is listed.

Reliance has doubled its petrochemical capacity and also acquire profits from its newest company Reliance Jio, adding another $4 billion to Ambani’s assets.

Mumbai-based analyst Nitin Tiwari told Bloomberg, “We need to broaden our horizon of expectation with Reliance”.

Ambani is known for his large-scale projects like he led the construction of the world’s largest refining complex in Jamnagar in Gujarat and owns the most-widespread mobile data network globally and claims to have India’s biggest as well as most profitable retail firm- Reliance.

Talking about his personal life, Mukesh Ambani married to Nita Ambani, has three children Akash, Anant, and Isha Ambani. Mukesh Ambani was born in a lower-middle-class family and lived in a simple 2-bedroom apartment in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai.

And now he owns Antila in Mumbai which has its different level of luxury. There are only parking and garages on the six floors of ‘Antilia’ in which about 168 cars can be parked. There is also a car service station for the Ambani’s cars on the seventh floor. To live in this skyscraper, there is a space of four lakh square feet, which has a ballroom. The ceiling is adorned with crystal. There are three cinema theatres, bars and three helipads. Approximately 600 employees maintain Antila.
