Quarantined Man Sends Dog With Note And Money To Buy Cheetos & She Comes Through!

Today is the first day of the complete 21-day lockdown in India announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address at 8 pm yesterday. The Economic Times quoted him saying that until April 14, “There is a Lakshman Rekha on your doorstep. Even one step outside your house will bring the coronavirus inside your house.”

All essential services will continue to remain open, hence there is no need for panic buying. As we gear up for the next three weeks of quarantine, let’s look at some unusual isolation stories from around the world. Remember the man in Cyprus who used a drone to walk his dog?

Antonio Muñoz from Mexico went a step further, attached a note and some money to his pet chihuahua’s collar and sent her to the store across the street to buy Cheetos!

The note in Spanish read, “Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbour.”

People couldn’t believe that the dog actually completed the task. Here are some of the reactions on Twitter.
