Stephen Hawking Warned Earth Before His Death. Told 5 Ways By Which Our Planet Will Vanish

Famous physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking passed away in the wee hours of 14th March. Hawking was 76 and had an extremely inspirational life. In his career, he talked about black holes, time, future of earth and a lot more and that was something that placed him in the league of Einstein.

Hawking in his life did several predictions about the future of Earth. He told that our dear planet will not support life in future and humans will need to find life somewhere else.

He also gave several predictions regarding the extinction of Earth.

1. Earth will turn into a ball of Fire

Stephen Hawkin feared that Earth will become inhabitable due to overcrowding of humans, huge energy consumption. He also predicted that Earth will turn into a giant Fireball by 2600 and humans will be responsible for it.

He also told that humans must colonize another planet in next 100 years or we’ll face extinction.

2. AI will prove worst for humanity

Stephen Hawking said that AI could be the worst event in the history of humanity. He said-

“Success in creating effective AI, could be the biggest event in the history of our civilization. Or the worst. We just don’t know. So we cannot know if we will be infinitely helped by AI, or ignored by it and side-lined, or conceivably destroyed by it.”

He also said-

“Unless we learn how to prepare for, and avoid, the potential risks, AI could be the worst event in the history of our civilization. It brings dangers, like powerful autonomous weapons, or new ways for the few to oppress the many. It could bring great disruption to our economy.”

3. Global Warming

Stephen Hawking also warned us about the fatal effects of Global Warming in future. He said that Earth will turn into a planet like Venus with a temperature of 250 degrees. He said-

“We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. (President Donald) Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of two hundred and fifty degrees, and raining sulphuric acid.”

4. Warning about Aliens

Stephen Hawking predicted some major mishappenings on the Earth and said Aliens will be responsible for it. He said-

“If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans.”

He added-

“We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.”

5. Nuclear War

Nuclear War could also result in the extinction of Earth and Humanity as per the predictions of Stephen Hawking.

Speaking to the BBC, he said-

“There is no sign of conflict lessening, and the development of militarised technology and weapons of mass destruction could make that disastrous.”
