Remember the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa, when Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes against Stuart Broad of England. Till date, this is the only instance when a batter struck 6 sixes in a row in one over.
However, that record was recently shattered by England’s Sam Currran who did the same in a match against Sri Lanka. And he did it even before striking even a single boundary, although he was able to make only about 64 runs.
On Instagram, the official page of England Cricket posted a picture of Sam Curran, with the caption, “Ever seen someone smash six sixes before they hit their first four?”
Well, guess who commented and also tagged Yuvi in it?
We’re sure Broad wasn’t expecting such an uproar on his comment. His comment was immediately loved and replied to by a thousand Indians, who took it all in good humour.
Stuart Broad, you’ve certainly won our hearts with this.
