Actress Turns Nurse To Help Coronavirus Patients, “We Had Taken Oath In College To Serve Society”

Doctors and nurses around the world are working round the clock to help and treat COVID-19 patients. They are, in fact, keeping their lives on stake to abide by their duties and responsibilities. After all, after completing their respective degrees, the doctors and nurses take an oath to help and serve people all their life no matter what. Probably, this is the reason why many doctors around the world are coming out from their retirement to help coronavirus patients.

And the same thing apparently encouraged Bollywood actress Shikha Malhotra to join the hospital during the coronavirus outbreak. The actress who has shared the screen with notable actor Sanjay Mishra in Kaanchli had completed her course in nursing back in 2014 from Delhi’s Vardhman Mahavir Medical College in Safdarjung Hospital, reports TOI.

But Shikha pursued acting as her career and never became a practicing nurse, reports TNIE. But in the time of a national health emergency, Shikha utilized her nursing course and joined the Hindu Hriday Samrat Bala Saheb Thackeray hospital to help coronavirus infected patients.
