Emilia Clarke AKA Khaleesi To Go On Virtual Dates In Exchange For COVID-19 Relief Donation

Several celebrities, business people, sportspersons, and eminent personalities are donating for the coronavirus relief fund. These donations are being used to bring forth more equipment and facilities to deal with the novel coronavirus whose spread is increasing by the day.

Speaking of which, our favourite Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, AKA Daenerys Targaryen has promised virtual dates to people donating to her coronavirus relief fund, reports The Indian Express.

Her charity, SameYou, supports those recovering from brain injuries and strokes. They are currently working towards raising 250,000 Euros (2 Crore INR approx) so that they can help people recover from brain injuries at home itself, thereby freeing beds for coronavirus patients.

“We are creating a virtual rehabilitation clinic so brain injury survivors have somewhere to go and somewhere to feel safe and somewhere to not feel so alone and isolated, which I think is a good thing. We need to do all we can to release as many beds as possible,” she said.

Emilia Clarke recently took to Instagram to upload a video urging people to donate for her COVID-19 relief. She has promised that 12 lucky donors will get to go on a “virtual date” with her, reports News18.

“We’ll cook it (food) together and eat it together. And we will discuss lots of things – isolation and fear and also (watch) funny videos. And, you know, the fact that I can’t really cook. So it’s going to be fun,” she said.
