Recent research of two years, conducted by scientists of six renowned American universities, looked into the deaths of 3,400 men and women who died in hospitals. The results revealed a surprising link between the age of patients and their foot size. The scientists compiled and examined data for the 3,400 deaths of men and women and discovered a direct connection between the age of the patients and the size of their feet.
According to Jim Hodge, a Cambridge professor, the size of the patient’s body is not directly linked to longevity, but only the size of their feet.
Although the exact cause of this phenomenon is yet unknown, scientists have compiled a table showing foot sizes and life expectancy for both men and women. It’s quite important to know that this table does not apply to children as their feet are still growing.
